Cycle control with NuvaRing

Several factors determine the acceptability of a contraceptive method, including the control of vaginal bleeding. NuvaRing is a monthly reversible contraceptive method that provides the lowest effective dose of estrogen (15 μg ethinylestradiol) of any hormonal contraceptive method available without compromising cycle control.5,10

Clinical trial data confirm that NuvaRing is associated with good cycle control,5–8 with the majority of women who use the vaginal ring achieving withdrawal bleeding only during the ring-free period.
