NuvaRing is a non-oral method of contraception that offers women a further choice to suit their lifestyle and family planning needs.1,2 Clinical trials have proven that NuvaRing’s novel vaginal delivery system provides a generally well-tolerated means of combined hormonal contraception with equivalent efficacy to combined oral contraceptives (COCs).3–8 The monthly administration routine offers a useful alternative to COCs, which may be an advantage in women who find compliance with daily pill-taking a problem.8,9
